Goodland Creek Trees, LLC is proud to be the first tree farm in South Carolina to earn the RootMaker® Certified Platinum designation.

To reach this status our trees start out in RootMaker propagation containers which direct root toward openings, consequently air-pruning the roots.  This results in horizontal secondary roots growing into a fibrous miniature root ball.

Following that they were shifted into 3 gallon RootMaker's injection molded containers.  These feature molded channels which fight to eliminate root circling and again direct roots toward the air-pruning openings, again geometrically increasing the number of nutrient absorbing roots.

The mature 3 gallon trees are then transplanted into white poly-coated above ground 15 gallon RootTrapper® containers.  The light reflective coating insulates the roots from extreme temperatures as well as conserves water by reducing drainage and evaporation.  The spun fabric interior of this container traps root tips which stops root circling and adds to further root branching.

This quality process puts Goodland Creek Trees at the top of the list.
